My Goals for 2019 -Blogmas #11

23 Dec 2018

Hello everyone,

I can only apologise for not posting Blogmas day 10, I had such a manic day! So I thought I would give you a little catch up on what I did yesterday before I get into my goals for 2019. So yesterday I woke up to a smashed phone as it had been knocked onto the floor when Sam's alarm was going off and it slowly got worse through out the day. I couldn't use the screen and there was a bugger load of lines over the screen and by the end of the day, the screen had completely stopped working. So I went over to Tesco mobile and got myself an iPhone 8 plus. I was planning on getting one in the new year but this just meant I got it a little before christmas! So that was my morning! I then popped into town to get my friends birthday present from myself and 6 of my other friends! So we decided to get a Becca Highlighter palette which was so pretty and Tom Ford lipstick in the most perfect nude shade! I then went for lunch at Sam's and shared a camembert (very christmassy) and then went to the pub with my mum and sister and my sisters friend which was also lovely. And then I finally went home to get ready for Holly's birthday night out,  so this is why I did not have time to write a post yesterday, but I hope that this one makes up for the lack of post yesterday.

So I thought today I would share with you a few of my goals for 2019.

1. Say yes to more blogging opportunities

So in 2017 I had a couple of invited to Revolution/ Tam beauty launch parties, however, they were all in london and if you didn't know, I live about 3 hours from London so it can often be a bit of a pain to get to. So I was always saying no to these blogging events. However, In 2019 aI want to make a conscious effort to say yes to more opportunities and try not to worry about them.

2. Finish my third year of University

I can not believe that next year I will be finishing uni, time has gone so fast but I am so excited to finish and I'm hoping its going to feel great once I have finished writing my dissertation and making my final collection. I never thought I would get to the end but it is so close. So that is my second goal for 2019.

3. Blog at least 2 times a week

I have absolutely loved doing blooms this year and it is so rewarding to see that people are enjoying and engaging in the posts, it's honestly so exciting. So I definitely want to try and blog as much as I can through out 2019 and keep the momentum going with my blog. I also need to try and balance my blog with Uni too so I'm hoping its going to work.

4. Visit a new Country

As some of you may have seen, in October Sam ever so kindly took me on a birthday trip to Venice and it was the most perfect weekend. We had an incredible time and it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. This made me really want to explore more and visit new places and I think myself and Sam were hoping to visit Amsterdam sometime next year which will be amazing as I have never been before and I have heard and seen so many good things about it.

5. Up my photography game

Now I'm not great at all this blogging model malarkey, in fact I just can not be serious when I ask someone to take a photo of me for my Instagram. I wish it cam naturally but it just really doesn't, so this is something I definitely want to work on throughout 2019, and I really want to make my photos for my Blog and Instagram 10000 times better as I have gained so much inspo from other bloggers this year.

6. Save some money

This is probably such a popular goal/ new years resolution but its something I seriously have to do in 2019. Because I am finishing uni in May I'm going to have to get my bum in gear and find myself a job, so I am hoping to start putting little bits into savings. A very boring one but one but a goal I just have to set myself.

7. EXERCISE

Now this is probably one of my biggest goals for 2019. I don't actually exercise as I am very lazy when it comes to wanting to move. Well thats a bit of an over exaggeration but I seriously need to start doing some exercise at least 4 times a week. I would love to join a gym again if I get a full time job but until then I want to be doing something active in the mean time.

8.  Not wear the same things every day

Im sure this is something that we all do, but I am always wearing the same thing all the time because I like to stick to what I know best. So next year I really want to try out new clothes and styles and try and utilise the clothes in my wardrobe to the best I can. I also want to try and not buy things that I am not going to wear as I am also very guilty of that.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and I shall see you tomorrow for the next one before Christmas yay! I hope you are having a lovely festive period...

  2. Love all of your goals! Mine are very similar, especially with saving and posting more consistently! Also, I went to venice for the first time this year too and it was so magical! Definitely the prettiest place I have ever been as well!
