What I accomplished in 2018- Blogmas #5

17 Dec 2018

Hello everyone,

Today I am sharing with you my top 5 accomplishments of 2018. I was actually inspired by a fellow blogger with this post, I thought it was such a lovely concept. So here are a few things that I have accomplished in 2018 and I really hope you enjoy this post...

1.  Making it to third year of University

I honestly can not believe how quickly my time at Uni has gone! I never really believed anyone when they said that Uni flies by, but I can honestly say it has been the quickest 2 and half years of my life. I have just finished the first semester of third year and I am quite frankly pretty scared to have to finish my dissertation and design and make a final collection. However, I can not wait for how great its going to feel once it is done. The first day of uni I was so unsure whether it is what I wanted to do and I went home and cried my eyes out. But I am so glad I stuck with it and to make it to third year feels so good.

2. Writing my First Sponsored Post

Considering I have been blogging for just over five years, you may be surprised that I had actually never been paid for blogging until November this year. I can not tell you how much this meant to me. To be blogging for such a long time and then to find out a brand wants to work with you is one thing, but getting paid for something you love doing is incredible! I never thought the day would come but I won't lie, it was a pretty proud moment. I'm hoping to really work on my blog and YouTube channel in 2019, as well as balancing my degree of course!

3. Being invited to my first ever blogging event

Another great blogging achievement for me this year has to be getting invited to my first ever blogging event. I see so many bloggers go on amazing trips and events with brands and it looks amazing! I could not believe it when I saw the email in my inbox from a local gin and tea bar asking if I wanted attend a gin tasting session in the new year. I could not believe they invited me and I am so glad I said yes, which is something I want to do more of in 2019.

4. Becoming a Dermalogica Skinfluencer

Now this one is one of my biggest achievements this year. I could not believe it when Dermalogica wanted me to become one of their skin ambassadors. I had never tried Dermalogica before but I am so glad i have been introduced to it because it is honestly the best thing thats happened to my skin in 2018. I never thought any skincare products would ever work on my skin, but Dermalogica proved me wrong with this one. I am so grateful to be working with them and I appreciate everything they have sent over to me in the past year.

5. Turing 21...

I mean I wouldn't necessarily say this is an achievement, but turning 21 is one of the biggest things for me in 2018. I can not believe how quickly time flies and it honestly feels like just last week I was turning 18. I had one of the best birthdays ever so I thought I definitely have to include this one in this appreciation post.

6. Visiting Italy for the First time

This was such an amazing thing that happened in 2018. My incredible boyfriend Sam kindly took me away to Venice for my 21st Birthday present. I was completely surprised and was soooooo incredibly excited as I had never been to Italy before. I think I had spoken in a previous post and said that my Grampy was Italian and lived in Pescara, Italy, So it meant so so much to me to finally be able to visit this beautiful country. We had the most amazing time and I have written a whole blog post about it if you would like to take a read. I am so glad to have visited one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I really hope you enjoyed this post today, A little different but I think its great to reflect on the positives throughout the year of 2018. What have been your greatest achievements in 2018?
