How I style My Primark Satin midi Skirt...

21 Feb 2020

Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed my latest styling advice post, today I thought I would share with you another. I find satin midi skirts the hardest thing to style as I feel like you can often look like a sack of potatoes if you don't get it right. I found this beautiful satin inspired drape midi skirt in Primark for just £5.

I found the best way of styling this skirt without me looking like widow swanky, was with a pair of white heels and a nice top. So if your not always wanting to wear jeans and a nice top, this is a great way to swap out your jeans for a midi skirt.

I paired the skirt with this Nasty Gal broderie crop top that you all know I love so much and has been a piece that has been worn constantly in my wardrobe since I brought it back in the summer. I find this is a great piece for summer and you can also incorporate it like this in the winter too.

I then added a pair of white square toe heels also from Nasty gal to tie the white top with the shoes.I found a pair of heels makes these skirts look so much more flattering. I feel like this would also look lovely with a pair of chunky trainers too if you wanted to wear it for the day time.

As for accessories, I popped on a pair of earrings from New Look, my Abbott Lyon watch and my Abbott Lyon Mara bag. I feel like the neutral colours of the accessories go so nicely with the colour of the skirt and everything ties in really well.

This outfit would be perfect for a date night, cocktails with the gals or even a christening or birthday. I feel like its something a little different and can look really chic and put together...

Thankyou so much for reading, see you next time...
