Creamfields 2018...

2 Sept 2018

Hello everyone,

As you may have known from my recent Youtube vids and Insta Posts and stories, I recently went to Creamfields, which is a Dance festival in Daresbury, Cheshire. Basically the absolute best weekend of my life. This was my third year at Creamfields and fair to say it was one of the muddiest.

As much as it rained and was a little cold up north, we still had the most incredible time. I went with my two pals Molly and Sarah, my boyfriend Sam and his brother Tom and girlfriend Crissy and safe to say we had the best time... I thought I would share with you some of the photos from the weekend. We stayed in standard camping, because I mean is it even a festival if you don't stay in grotty old standard camp...

We arrived on the Thursday at around 2 o clock and managed to avoid the 5 hour que through security that we went through last year. We managed to set up one out of three tents until it began to rain, so took a break and then set up the rest of the tents. Once the tents were set up the gals got glittered up and we went off to the arena. I actually found my glitter on Ebay and brought 5 pots and got 5 free which meant I was spending £4.95 on 10 pots of glitter, so if you are ever looking for glitter, definitely look on Ebay.

On the Thursday night there were only silent disco's which were so much fun, if you ever get the chance to go to one I would highly recommend as its highly amusing taking off your headphones and listening to everyones horrendous singing.

On Friday the weather was a little bit moist still but the sun appeared quite a few times through out the day. We hung around the tent and also took a look in the Electric Oasis, which was basically a chill out zone which sold amazing pizza, garlic bread and cake. The garlic bread was possibly the most amazing garlic bread I have ever eaten in my life tbh. We then went into the arena and saw Carl Cox in the Steel Yard , Camelphat, Patrick Topping , Green Velvet.

Saturday was one of the days I was most excited for as we were seeing Above and Beyond and Axwell & Ingrosso. We also saw the Kaleidoscopic Orchestra tribute to Avicii, which was possibly one of the most emotional moments of the weekend. Above & Beyond litterally blew my mind as per, they produce possibly some of the best music I have ever heard.

Then finally on the Sunday, we ate some more amazing food, before seeing Third Party, Alesso, Oliver Heldens and then finally Eric Prydz presenting Holo. This was probably one of the most magical experiences of my life. I don't know how he did it but the visuals were absolutely insane (which you will see in the photos below)...

So all in all, if you love bangers, you will absolutely love Creams and I would recommend the festival to absolutely everyone because it will be the best experience of your life, and if I can camp in the freezing pouring rain, I think anyone can....
