How I edit My Instagram Photos

5 Mar 2019

Hello everyone,

Today I thought I would share with you how I edit my Instagram photos. I have been searching for ages for that perfect preset, and have seen so many inspiring photos from other fashion bloggers that I just love. I never knew how they achieved such brightness made such dark photos appear so much more bright. Until I found some pre sets on Etsy.com. I am so glad I found them and they were so in expensive to,  only £2.50.

I never thought to look before on Etsy and I was so shocked as to how great the price were. I had had a look at some blogger pre sets, such as Josie from Fashion Mumblr, I am so inspired by her photos as they are always so gorgeous, however, i knew I didn't want to spend too much on the pre sets. So I took to Etsy and had a scroll through until I found the one I likes best.

I went for the Toffee nut presets, which I tried looking for but could no longer find, but you could always have a search through the site as there are so many lovely ones. You can search through them HERE . So once I had downloaded the pre sets and set them up into Lightroom, I begin playing around with the brightness.

I make sure the photo is uploaded into Light room and then I apply the Toffee nut pre set, I then save this as a file and either go into photos and edit the brightness on there or go straight into Instagram and adjust the brightness using the Instagram brightening option.

It is honestly so simple. I always thought I wanted to make sure I was editing the photos myself, but when I saw how beautiful these pre sets were, I knew I was going to love them. I am really quite happy with my Insta feed at the moment, which is a rarity as I am always feeling like I could improve it, which I definitely still can do.

Here are a few examples of the photos I have edited and I am in love with the results...

I really hope you enjoyed this post, I know I get quite a few questions about how I edit my photos so I hope you enjoy

See you next time...
