How to Style a Midi Dress for Summer

16 Jun 2019

Hello everyone,

although the it has been rather rainy in the UK at the moment, I thought I would share with you how to style a midi dress for summer in hope the sun will come out again. A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a boutique in my local town called Frank and Doll and the lovely ladies allowed me to try on some of their pieces and take some photos for their social media. I had such a great time and felt like a right little blogger haha...

So I tried on about 4-5 different outfits and styled them all up how I would wear them with the cutest accessories. Frank and Doll is an affordable clothing and accessory brand that sells everything from clothes to basket bags to necklaces and light signs. Their boutique is just amazing and is so Instagrammable. If you are ever in Cheltenham I would highly reccomened heading down and popping in as the girls are so friendly and I am nearly 100% sure you would all love their pieces. Everything is so on trend and so my style, so if you love a cute, girly look, this is definitely a place to visit. If you are not visiting Cheltenham anytime soon, they do have a website https://frankanddoll.com/ .

We took so many cute pics, but today I will be sharing with you How I style the Alice Green Gingham Dress. Do not worry, there will be upcoming posts for the other outfits we styled up so look out for those coming soon.

I am absolutely loving the midi dress trend at the moment and have seen so many lovely ones all across the high street. This one is only £34 and is such great quality and can be worn to so many different occasion, possibly a wedding, christening or even a bbq or summer picnic. As you can see here I styled it with Frank and Doll's Carmen Bamboo bag. These have been so popular and on trend these past couple of summers and you can see why. It is just the perfect summer bag to pair with almost any outfit. Because of the neutral colours it will look great with so many different things.

I also paired this with a Gucci belt which added that little extra glam, however if it was more of a casual occasion you could always remove the belt and just stick with the bag and a cute little pearl hair clip. I also paired this with the girls and boys necklace pendants and the most adorable heart sunglasses which only cost £13. These just made the outfit look so glam. I then paired them with these nude heels, however once again, a pair of sandals or espadrilles would look great if you were wearing this dress to a summer bbq or picnic. You could also swap out the bamboo bag for a clutch if you were after more of a night time look.

Thankyou to the lovely ladies at Frank and Doll for having me and making me feel so welcome!!
Thankyou so much for reading...
