Spending 24 Hours in Bath: Travel Diaries...

1 Apr 2019

Hello everyone,

At the weekend, myself and Sam took a trip down to Bath, as Sam was DJing at one of my lovely friend Hannah's Charity Ball. Sam drove us down on Friday afternoon and we set up his kit at Bath racecourse, which was such a lovely venue. By the time we got there and had set up it was almost time to go out. So we got ready for the ball. I actually wore one of my mums dresses which she kindly let me borrow. It was such a great night and Hannah did such a great job of organising the event.

On Saturday we went to possibly one of the cutest cafes I have ever been to. If you have ever been to Peggy Porschen, you will absolutely love this place. It is called Sweet Little Things, and sells anything from coffee, to cake to breakfast and brunch. It is such a lovely place and the decor is just beautiful. It very much so reminded me of the Peggy porschen Bakery in London, however, the best thing about it was that it was so affordable. I was expecting it to be very pricey as the place was so cute and Instagrammable, however, it was really well priced. I had the avocado on toast and Sam had the full english breakfast and the food was so good. Sam also had the green super smoothie and I had the chai latte which was also amazing. This is the perfect place to go for coffee and cake as they do some incredible cake...

We then took a stroll around Bath and I must say it is such a beautiful place. If you ever get the chance to go there I would highly recommend and I would highly reccomened the Sweet Little Things Cafe.

My Outfit

I thought I would also share with you where my outfit is from as I had quite a few questions about it on my Instagram. So my trousers are from Zara, my top is from Primark and was just £4, wow. My sunnies were also just £2 from Primark and my shoes are from New Look, and my bag is from Topshop. My watch is also from Miss Selfridge.

I also vlogged my trip with Sam, if you would like to watch, here is the link to my YouTube channel...

I really hope you enjoyed this little Travel diary. Have you ever been to Bath, if so where would you reccomened?

  11. This post is such a gem for anyone planning a Venice trip. I never thought of staying in Venezia Mestre before, but Martina and Andrea’s Airbnb sounds like a cozy, cost-effective alternative to staying directly on the island. The food recommendations are fantastic—modern Venetian cuisine at Osteria Plip and traditional cichetti at Osteria Bancogiro are now on my list. I also love that you included travel times to Venice proper. Very practical advice!Central Maine

  12. I really enjoyed reading about your weekend in Bath. It’s such a beautiful city with so much charm, and the fact that you were there to support a charity event makes it even more special. Borrowing a dress from your mum sounds so sweet and must have made the night feel even more meaningful. Bath Racecourse seems like a perfect spot for an elegant event, and it’s clear Hannah did an amazing job.st martin boat tours

  14. I really enjoyed reading about your trip to Bath and the Charity Ball experience. Events like these are always so uplifting, especially when they’re organised for a good cause. The fact that Sam was DJing must have added a personal touch to the night, making it even more memorable for you both. Borrowing your mum’s dress was such a sweet idea—it probably carried a lot of sentimental value. It truly sounds like a night to remember!shopping in Antalaya

  15. What an incredible adventure! Not many places can offer such a diverse range of wildlife experiences all in one day. Puffins, dolphins, grey seals, and even killer whales—that sounds like a dream trip for any animal lover. I also like how you highlighted the joy of seeing animals in their natural environment instead of captivity. It makes the journey more authentic and meaningful. 16. This is such a fascinating premise for a story! The idea of Christine Stewart starting her day with what feels like a simple work assignment, only to be stranded in 1867 Oklahoma, immediately grabs attention. The balance of futuristic technology, time travel, and historical settings is a perfect mix for readers who enjoy both science fiction and historical drama. I’m especially curious about how she will manage being stuck in the past while having responsibilities waiting in 2070 Los Angeles.jatibonico

  18. I really enjoyed reading your post about your trip to Bath! Events like charity balls always have such a positive atmosphere, and it’s lovely that Sam could contribute his DJ skills to make the night more memorable. Borrowing your mum’s dress sounds so sweet, and I bet it carried a lot of sentimental value too. Bath itself is such a historic and picturesque place to visit, which must have made the whole experience even better.surfing in taghazout

  19. I always enjoy reading about cultural heritage sites, and this post about the Auseklu Mill Museum is no exception. Visiting during the coldest days of January must have been an unforgettable adventure. It’s amazing that this watermill still stands strong after more than a century. The exhibits and the grain milling demonstration sound so authentic. I appreciate how well Latvia preserves its past and allows people to experience it firsthand.yacht rental st maarten

  20. This article does a great job of revealing the real Anthony Bourdain. It’s amazing how his personality combined confidence, curiosity, and kindness. The quote from David Carr truly reflects his charm and charisma, but Vitale’s comment adds depth by showing how genuine Bourdain was. He didn’t need to act; being himself was enough to create a global impact. His approach to travel and storytelling continues to inspire people everywhere to explore with heart.things to do in phong nha

  21. What a lovely post! It’s always fascinating how a place can exceed expectations when you’re least anticipating it. Venice may be crowded and commercial in parts, but your experience reminds me that it’s still full of authentic moments and romantic charm. I especially love how you described it as the highlight of your honeymoon. It’s proof that sometimes, the most talked-about destinations truly deserve their fame once you see them through your own eyes.Grafton lakehouse for rent
